On May 6, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Usawadee Asdornwised, faculty member from the Department of Surgical Nursing, warmly welcomed Mr. Dalmacio Calimlim Flores III, Ms. Hanne Harbison, and 16 students from the School of Nursing, University of Pennsylvania, USA. The group visited Mahidol University from May 4–16, 2025 as part of the faculty and student exchange program with international institutions.

The visit aims to enhance knowledge, mutual understanding, and the exchange of experiences regarding the Thai healthcare system, as well as the roles and responsibilities of Thai nurses within that system.

During their visit, the delegation toured key educational facilities at the Faculty of Nursing, including the Learning Resources Center, the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Nursing Knowledge and Information Center, the Royal Archives of Queen Sri Savarindira, the Royal Archives of Prince Mahidol of Songkla-Princess Srinagarindra and the Royal Archives of Her Royal Highness Prinecess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra at the Salaya Campus.

This exchange program reflects the Faculty’s commitment to international academic collaboration and marks another important milestone in promoting the global presence of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University.
