“Future Nursing Research and Innovation for Sustainable Global Health”
Our Ph.D. student from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, had the opportunity to deliver an oral presentation at the 2nd International Nursing Research Conference on “Future Nursing Research and Innovation for Sustainable Global Health”, held December 2 - 4, 2025. In addition to presenting their work, the student joined the Doctoral Students Forum featuring distinguished speaker: Prof. Dr. Caroline Susan Elizabeth Homer, Princess Srinagarindra Awardee 2024 from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

Dissertation Seminar 2025
The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program), a joint program between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, recently held the Dissertation Seminar 2025 for 2nd-year students (Cohort 2024). Presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Aurawamon Sriyuktasuth, Co-Chair of the Program, alongside several dissertation advisors, the seminar aimed to let students present their research topics and report on the progress of their dissertation proposals.
The seminar took place from October 15 to December 16, 2025, at both the Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. During the meetings, students delivered presentations on their proposals and received valuable feedback from both faculty members and peers. This helped students refine their research frameworks and get ready for their upcoming official dissertation proposal defenses.

On October 6, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, held a Congratulatory Event for Graduates of Academic Year 2024. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, together with the administrative team and faculty members, extended their congratulations and celebrated the achievements of all the graduates. Congratulations on reaching this amazing milestone!

Special lecture
On September 18, 2025, Dr. Rath Dhnadirek, a guest speaker, delivered a special lecture for 1st year students on the topic "Strategic Leadership in Healthcare Industry", focusing on nursing leadership strategies and global leadership. Students had the chance to learn about successful leadership strategies from an expert and exchange ideas. The lecture was part of the NSID 681 Nursing Leadership and Health Policy course, which aimed to provide students with insights into advanced leadership strategies in nursing and global healthcare systems from distinguished professionals.

On September 11, 2025, 1st year Ph.D. students participated Teacher’s Day Ceremony at Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University (Salaya). Representative expressed gratitude and respect to the professors by presenting the flower trays that the students had made together.

New Students Orientation 2025
On August 4, 2025, the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science (International Program), a joint program between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, organized the "New Students Orientation" for academic year 2025. The event was held at the Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. The activities included student introductions to help everyone get to know each other, a brief overview of the program structure, and a video presentation highlighting the vision and mission of both institutions to help students better understand the program’s direction.
Additionally, 2nd-year students also joined the event to greet the newcomers and delivered a special talk “Ph.D. Students' Life”, sharing their personal experiences in studying, conducting research, and living as doctoral students. This session aimed to inspire and guide new students in adapting to their academic journey.

| As part of the orientation, students were taken to visit the Royal Archives of QueenSrisavarindira PrinceMahidol-PrincessSrinagarindra, and the Thai Nursing Museum and Archives, all located at the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University. The activity aimed to foster an appreciation of the nursing profession. In addition, students were introduced to the facilities available at Faculty of Nursing both Bangkok Noi and Salaya campuses such as the library and student lounge to help them prepare for their academic journey and university life. |

17th Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD 2025)
Miss Varinthon Jantaramanee, our alumni, participated in the 17th Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD 2025), held in conjunction with the 46th Annual Meeting of the Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society of the R.O.C.(Taiwan). She presented under the topic “Lifestyle Modification Intervention on Glycemic Control and Illness Perceptions in Adults with Uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes: A Randomized Controlled Trial.” The conference held from March 28 - 30, 2025, at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), Taipei, Taiwan.

15th International Nursing Conference & 28th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS)
Miss Jirawan Mala, our alumni, participated and presented her work under the topic “The Effectiveness of Telehealth Intervention on Functional Status, Anxiety, Depression, and Rehospitalization Rate among Elderly Patients with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery” at the 15th International Nursing Conference & 28th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS), held February 13 - 14, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea. This conference focused on developing nursing models that balance technological innovation with the core values of human-centered care.

"Triple Burden of Diseases: Nurse-Led Game Changer to Optimize the Outcomes of Care"
The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, alongside 26 co-host institutions, organized the international conference "Triple Burden of Diseases: Nurse-Led Game Changer to Optimize the Outcomes of Care" (January 7 - 9, 2025). The event gathered global healthcare experts at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, to exchange strategies for managing complex global health challenges. Our Ph.D. students actively attended the conference, gaining direct exposure to global nursing trends and engaging with world-class healthcare leaders.
