Special Lecturer Prof.Dr. Afaf I. Meleis 2019

13th -14th November,2019, Prof.Dr. Afaf I. Meleis from University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, United States of America, came to visit the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol Univeristy. The purpose of her visit is to give a lecture and hold a workshop for graduate students of the Faculty of Nursing on the topic of “Transitional Theory and Feminist Theories”. Students in Doctor of Philosophy program in Nursing Science, along with master’s degree students and our staff attended to the aforementioned workshops and lectures.

Academic’s Seminar, academic year 2019

On 5 October, 2019, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University and Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital held a joint seminar to improve the quality of our PhD program and to explore more opportunities for our students. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, the Dean, along with the administration team of PhD program and other academic staff and academic advisors of the Faculty of Nursing also participated in this seminar.

Photoshoot Sessions for New Graduates of Academic Year 2018

On 25 September, 2019, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University held a photoshoot session and graduation party for all of our students who graduated in academic year 2018. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, the Dean, along with the administration team and other academic staff and academic advisors of the Faculty of Nursing also participated to celebrate and take photographs with the students on this occasion.

Teacher’s Day Ceremony 2019

On September 12, 2019, Doctoral students participated Teacher’s Day Celebration Ceremony at Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University (Salaya).

On 13th August, 2019, Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing held an orientation event for new students. Along with faculty members and staff, senior students from our program also participated in the event to give advices and to welcome our new students. New students were given a tour of Mahidol University and Faculty of Nursing’s Royal Archives of Queen Sri Savarindira and Royal Archives of Prince Mahidol of Songkla-Princess Srinagarindra.

During 20 May - 8 June 2019, Prof.Dr. Alicia Matthews from College of Nursing, University of Illinois at Chicago, United States of America, came to visit the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol Univeristy. The purpose of her visit is to give a lecture and hold a workshop for graduate students of the Faculty of Nursing on the topic of “How to Write a Review Article for Publications” and “How to get publication in international journals”. Students in Doctor of Philosophy program in Nursing Science, along with master’s degree students and our staff attended to the aforementioned workshops and lectures.

On 30th March, 2019, students of Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing went on a cultural visit trip to Bang Kachao, a famous cultural site Phra Pradaeng District of Samut Prakan Province of Thailand. During this trip, students were given the opportunity to observe local community daily life on a bicycle and by visiting local dye factory and mushroom farm. They were also participated in dyeing workshop and cook mushroom cuisines.
