On Monday 7th November, 2016 Univ.-Prof. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Osterbrink from the Institute of Nursing Science, Paracelsus Medical University, Salzburg, Austria came to visit Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University to give a special lecture on the topic of "Aging and Pain". 2nd and 3rd year students from Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing participated this special lecture and also had a discussion session with Prof. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Osterbrink on the same occasion.

On Monday 17th October, 2016, representatives and students from Universitas Indonesia (The University of Indonesia) came to visit Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, for the purpose of discussion about possible collaborations between two institutes in the future. On the same occasion, they also discussed about both institutes graduate studies programs and the chances for student enrollment.

In August, 2016, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University held a photoshoot session and graduation party for all of our students who graduated in the same year. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, the dean, along with the administration team and other academic stuff and academic advisors of the Faculty of Nursing also participated to celebrate and take photographs with the students on this occasion.

On 8th August, 2016, Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing held an orientation program for our new students. Along with faculty members and staff, senior students from our program also participate in the event to give and advise and to welcome our new students.

During January, 11th-14th, 2016, The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University had the honor of welcoming Dr. Mladenovic, Jeanette, Executive Vice President and Provost of Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), United States of America , and Professor Dr. Bakewell-Sachs, Susan, Dean of School of Nursing, OHSU. The purpose of this visit is to discuss and finalize the plan for future academic collaboration between OHSU and the mentioned PhD program in Nursing.
