The policy of department is focused on fortifying the faculty members to scholarly advanced nursing knowledge through conducting research. The research results are used to improve teaching – learning effectiveness and to develop quality of life of people in a community.

The faculties have conducted many research programs in various areas including gerontological nursing, nursing management, nursing education, cancer nursing, health promotion, chronic illness, and family caregiver.
