In March, 2008, the Department of Pediatric Nursing endorsed an initiative to set up the Center for Chronic Ill Children in response to the care needs for children with chronic illness and their families. The Center is dedicated to provide education, research, and nursing services to meet the challenges of caring for these children and their families. Our goals are to:
- Increase the faculty’s expertise in care for chronic ill children,
- Consistently provide quality services that meet self-care needs of chronic ill children and their families,
- Increase research productivity in nursing for chronic ill children and their families.
