Jaturamitt community, Bangkok
September 2017, faculty members from Department of Medical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University and Master degree students, leading by Associate Professor Dr. Chongjit Saneha, provided academic services twice at Jaturamitt community, Bangkok. Services include basic health assessment and knowledge provision regarding stroke; basic stroke knowledge, stroke prevention, and stroke fast track. The academic service was held at the community center with audiences who were community members and had interest in stroke knowledge acquisition. The purpose of this academic service was to enhance the understanding regarding stroke knowledge to community members, and the ultimate goal is for community members to have ability in the early detection and proper management once the symptoms occur which will eventually increase the survival rate of stroke patient.
