Center of Excellence in Chronic Care Management

The Medical Nursing Department has established the Center of Excellence (COE)
in Chronic Care Management with an aim to enhance evidence-based nursing related to management with chronic care in adults, including improving care for patients with chronic illnesses,  enhancing disease prevention, and fostering health promotion.  There have been ongoing research studies being conducted in accordance with the areas of excellence in the department, including cancer nursing, cardiovascular nursing, and neurological nursing, that are congruent with chronic care issues of the country. Research network has been proliferated with both national and international partners, such as Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Prasat Neurological Institute, St.Luke’s  College of Nursing, Japan, Faculty of Nursing, University of Alberta, Canada, and Deakin  University, Australia.  Training programs have also been organized nationally and internationally for nurse educators and professional nurses, while educational services have been provided for people across the country.
