Research
The Department's research direction focuses on critical mental health issues in Thailand, particularly depressive disorders. Continuous research has been conducted to develop healthcare systems and nursing care guidelines for high-risk populations across all age groups. In addition, research is carried out to build expertise in symptom management and care for schizophrenic patients, substance abusers, and individuals with psychosexual problems. The department has also initiated research on care for children with four major psychiatric conditions: ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities. The knowledge generated from research is utilized to enhance the quality and efficiency of both education and nursing practices.
